| Vishvaroopa Darshan(a) (Shri Krishna exihibitting his Universal Image to Arjuna) Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum The two great epics of Hindustan, that is Bharath or India are Ramayan(a) and Mahabharath(a). The Vishvaroopa Darshana is one of the various incidents happened in Mahabharath. In the battlefield of Kurukshetra, where the great war between Pandavas and Kauravas went for 18 days, on the first day Arjuna saw his teachers, friends, relatives and other respectable elderly persons in the opponent party, with whom he has to battle for justice. He feels sorry about the situation and decides not to battle against them. He keeps aside his Bow & Arrows in grief. When Arjuna declines to battle, Shri Krishna consoles him by explaing the meaning of Dharma in life and exhibits his universal image to him. In Hindu culture, Dharma means "the right ways of living" or "right paths for living". The conversation between Arjuna and Shri Krishna in the battlefield is compiled in "Bhagavadgeetha", the holy Hindu scripture containing 18 chapters and 700 verses, a part of Mahabharath Epic. The author of Bhagavadgeetha is saint Vedavyasa and now, this holy scripture is used for taking "Oath" by Hindus in the courts of India. The phrase, "Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum" is of the great Hindu saint pilosopher Shri.Madhvacharya, which is most popular and a universal truth.  Shri Madhvacharya Shri Madhvacharya born on the auspicious day of Vijayadashami in the year 1238 in Pajaka, which is about 3 miles from Udupi. His parents are Shri Narayana Bhatta and Shrimathi Vedavathi. His first name is Vasudeva. He is also popularly known as Poornaprajna and Ananda theertha. He established Shri Krishna Temple and 8 mattas in Udupi. He is the chief proponent of DVAITHA school of thought and His DVAITHA philosophy has clearly shown the world, the difference between JEEVATMA & PARAMATMA. The word Dvaitha means Dualism, which is a realism in this World. The Jeevatma is all the living things in the world and Paramatma is the supreme GOD. Atma is the Soul*. The Dvaitha philosophy propounds that, the World is "REAL" and "GOD" is the creator of this World. In this world, the individual souls* are different from God. The individual souls are also different from each other. Lord Vishnu is the greatest entity and supreme in this Universe. Now a days, for every caste, there is a Jagadguru in India. Very recently, where there was no Jagadguru in a caste, also has one today.
